SuperfoodSometimes the right thing is just in front us, but we are unaware of how right it is, right? Well, I am no soul mate hunting expert but a foodie by heart and belly; hence I was talking about food here.

When talking about wonders for our health, an image of a perfectly shaped body pops into our head. To be in good shape makes you healthy but not all the time. Sometimes we overdo the effort and lose our health while coming in shape but few foods can make you slim, smart and healthy (maybe wealthy too, as it can be useful source of saving money)

Here are the seven super foods that do wonders for your health. They can also be consumed even when you are on an 800 calorie meal plan.

  1. EGGS

So, you interested in losing weight? Start your day with an egg. But what if you are trying to gain few pounds? Well, start your day with an egg.

Yes, this is how much amazing this little white thing is. It energizes you and has nutrients like protein, vitamin E, lutein, and Omega-3. An egg contains approximately 70 calories in it. So you can have as much of it as you want but if you are on a diet to lose weight than prefer boiled ones.

  1. DRY FRUITS

I remember the time when my mother uses to fill up a jar with mixed dry fruits and use to hand me some on my way out to school. I use to feel so energized and full for almost half of the day that unnecessary food never entered my mouth. But now, in this busy schedule, I have no time to eat any of this delicious, healthy stuff.

Add a handful of dry fruits to your diet and see what it will do to you. May it is your skin, hair or overall health, the benefits are countless.

  1. CHEESE

You read it right; cheese is beneficial to you if it is not processed. Parmesan, feta, cheddar and Swiss these are some excellent example of cheese you can have even when you are on a diet to lose weight. All the cheese lover out there? Go nuts!

I have added this ingredient in my life for almost every food I prepare. No, I am not Monica Gellar, but I believe she knew what she was doing.

Garlic helps in battling the bacteria in your body and prevents heart diseases. Last summer when belly was going all fat, I asked an Asian friend of mine for a remedy, and she suggested me to have one or two cloves of garlic just after getting up in the morning. Trust me or not my belly was flat within a month. But things like this works differently for everyone.

Almost every one of us is a victim of vitamin deficiencies. There are many foods out there to overcome such needs and even more supplements to get over the trouble, but this delicious fruit or its juice can do wonders for you.

With or without pulp, just include orange juice in your breakfast and see your black knuckles going away.

  1. SPINACH AND PARSLEY SMOOTHIE

If you are a smoothie lover, do try this one too. It helps you in losing weight and making your vision better.

Spinach is in vitamins A, B, C, E, iron and zinc and also contains lutein and zeaxanthin while parsley focuses on your eye care and weight both. Try to try this smoothie once in a while.

  1. COFFEE

We drink coffee a lot but know very little about it. When comparing coffee with regular tea and green tea, coffee contains more caffeine in it. How many of you know that caffeine boosts our metabolism. And boosted metabolism means you can shed weight quickly.

If you have recently given birth to a child than avoid coffee, it stops the flow of your milk.
